Over 700 Businesses Trust Us With Their Training Requirements
Apprenticeship Levy Update – January 2017
The new Apprenticeship Levy starts in May 2017 and will affect most businesses. If you have a payroll of over £3 million a year you will have to pay 0.5% of your payroll costs (you’ll get back £15,000 levy allowance) so you need to be planning now to make the most of this and invest in your business. You’ll need to take charge of this, find training providers, negotiate fees and manage those training providers.
How We Customise Training To Meet Your Business Needs
Here at TQ we understand the pressures and challenges of running a business.
Right from the beginning we take time to really understand your business – what it does, what your aims and ambitions are and what you want to gain from training and development.
One of our highly experienced consultants will work with you to agree an Organisational Needs Analysis and to plan the delivery of the training you want, where and when you want it.
We are used to people who do not work 9 to 5, who work shifts and our staff work alongside yours to deliver the training and assessment during your normal working pattern.
“there are only two ways for a manager to improve the output of an employee: motivation and training.”
Will My Staff Need Time Off For Training?
They will need to be released from their usual work to focus on their qualifications from time to time. In particular if they are eligible for government funding then they will need time to complete application forms.
They will need a few hours at the beginning of an Apprenticeship or a Functional Skills programme to undertake initial assessment tests to establish what level they are already at so that their programmes can be individual to them. They may also need to sit tests during and at the end of their programmes.
All of this work is carried out on their normal working premises, there is no need for them to have more time off to go to college.
