Adult Education Manager

Job Title: Adult Education Manager

Location: National

Salary Range: Based on Experience

Outline:

We are a national training provider and we are looking to add talent to our existing leadership team. As part of our exciting growth we are now looking for a National Adult Education Manager to drive forward the success of the organisation. Although the role is national, predominantly delivery is focused in the central region with head office based in Daventry, Northamptonshire.

We have over 20 years’ experience in the industry and have a proven record of helping to meet both learner and business needs. We are passionate about improving skills to help individuals achieve a brighter future.

  • Do you have a minimum of 5 years’ experience within welfare to work and managing functional skills and employability delivery programmes?
  • Do you have experience of building external relationships including working with job centre plus?
  • Do you have a proven track record of successful leadership within an ambitious performance driven environment?
  • Do you have experience of managing performance and continual development of staff?
  • Are you enthusiastic, adaptable, hands on and able to communicate with a range of different stakeholders?
  • Are you fully conversant with adult education funding rules and have experience of managing welfare to work sector challenges?
  • Are you confident with Ofsted and the common inspection framework and how this is embedded within adult education programmes?

This position will play a pivotal role in the growth of the organisation. Critical to the role will be the responsibility to build local partnerships and support the recruitment of learners to programmes. Managing a delivery team means it’s essential that you are performance driven and that targets are met in order for learners to achieve and progress on to positive destinations.

Required Experience:

  • Minimum 5 years leadership in work based learning and welfare to work.

Job Title: Trainer / Assessor (Business Improvement Techniques)

Salary Range: £TBC

Contract Type: Permanent / Full Time

TQ Training is delighted to have been chosen as the lead Levy Provider for Ocado, the leading online supermarket and are looking to add talent to our existing training team.

As such, we are now seeking experienced Trainer Assessors with a passion for delivering a high quality training experience with an employer focus.

Do you have experience with Apprenticeship delivery and a proven record of success in helping individuals achieve a brighter future?

  • Do you hold a Business Improvement Techniques qualification up to level 3?
  • Can you demonstrate occupation experience in implementing Business Improvement Techniques into a business environment?
  • Are you qualified to at least a level 2 in Maths, English and ICT?

  • Do you hold a level 4 or 5 qualification in engineering?

Salary Range: £23,000

  • Are you an experienced Trainer/Assessor with an assessing qualification? (A1, TQAQ, D32)
  • Are you fully conversant with current apprenticeship frameworks and standards, and have experience of working for a training provider?
  • At least 3 years occupational experience working within a business environment?
  • Do you hold a relevant qualification in Team Leading & Business Admin up to level 3?
  • Do you hold level 2 Maths, English and ICT Functional Skills or prepared to work towards?
  • Do you hold a recognised teaching qualification at level 4?
  • Are you confident in using IT, particularly E-portfolio systems?
  • Have a full driving licence, own transport and be available to travel between various geographical sites.

Salary Range: £26,000
