Advice and Guidance
The TQ Workforce Development team offers advice and guidance to learners who need help with their choice of Learning Route and future aims.
Our Team provides an excellent support service on a one to one basis. They are able to give impartial information, advice and guidance on courses, training, careers, learning and employment, whether preparation for higher education, financial support, CV writing and attending interviews.
Through regular meetings any needs wil be identified and discussed with the Learner. In addition we are able to link up with other organizations, external experts, and also offer one to one guidance for learners who may have other personal issues they wish to discuss.
Our aim is to provide advice and guidance that not only supports the individual Learner but enhances their ability and capability providing them with an opportunity to grow. This also benefits the employer by up skilling their workforce, showing investment in the future of their employees thus improving retention, profitability and the success of the business.
Mentoring and Personal Support
Everyone has a different style of approaching challenges and there are a number of services available through TQ to ensure our learners have the help and support they need.
Your Assessor is always on hand to help, but we will also signpost Learners to external partners for specialist advice where necessary. We will advise on course work, attendance and time management and work with the individual to come up with a tailored action plan to tackle the issues they are faced with.
Other Support
Some learners experience difficulties outside of work which can affect their studies. Free advice and guidance is available to learners via their Assessor to make sure no one feels overwhelmed or alone.
